Solar Window Fan with 12 Volt

Another great idea on a solar window fan is to get something like this Xantrex Technologies 852-2071 Xpower AC/DC Powerpack Solar With 400 Watt Inverter which you can get on Amazon and then  hook up a 12 volt solar window fan to it.

This powerpak is an amazing little unit that you will want to have in your home if you’re trying to save on electricity or want a source of back-up power for emergencies as it is solar powered and has a variety of ways you can use it.

For right now though, we can talk about using it as a solar window fan.. ...as so many of the solar powered fans are a bit weak on the performance end.

Simply power up the unit, plug your little 12v fan into it and you will have a sturdy little house cooling unit!

The reviews on this 12v fan are much stronger than on the typical solar window fans where the fan itself is solar powered.

For some reason the solar powered fans are just not as powerful as you need them to be in a home. They are perfect for a small office space or bedroom but in a larger room they don’t perform as well.

The cool thing about having the solar power unit on hand such as the Amazon one below is that you can power so much more with it – AND you can carry it with you anywhere you go. Use it for picnics, parties, camping trips, in fact ANYWHERE YOU NEED SOME EXTRA POWER!!
